Professional Qualifications
Jerry Grence served as the Director of Facilities for three years for the Palm Springs Unified School District where, prior to that, he served as Maintenance Director for 12 years.
Before moving to Palm Springs, Jerry served as the Assistant Director of Maintenance in Charge of Skilled Trades for Arizona State University for six years. While at ASU, his responsibilities included buildings, grounds, and custodial. Sun Devil Stadium and Grady Gammage Theater were among the facilities for which Jerry was responsible.
Jerry is a retired Naval Lt. Commander, having served for 30 years in the SeaBee’s on construction projects worldwide.
Upon retiring in 2007, Jerry has joined HDA Design Group as an Educational Facilities Specialist. He will be assisting HDA in California and will be available to our Arizona clients as well. Prior to his recent years in California, Jerry was a long-term Arizona resident.
