Professional Qualifications                       

Mason joined HDA Architects, LLC at the company’s inception in 1989.  His professional experience spans more than 40 years, the last 29 of which he has acted as Project Manager/Project Architect on a variety of projects ranging from $20,000 to $30,000,000.  Mason’s proven dedication and management capabilities earned him a role as Principal of the firm in 2001. 

As one of the firm’s principals, Mason’s primary role encompasses the management of our contract/construction administration staff from the bidding stage through the construction and warranty phases of a project, in addition to his role as Principal-In-Charge on complex projects.  He has the knowledge, skills and integrity to successfully complete complex and demanding projects.

The focus of Mason’s past project experience has been in public works and educational facilities.  His more recent experience has expanded into the “design-build” approach to facility development.
