The new Dr. James “Ted” Perry High School is a second generation of the Chandler Unified School District’s adaptation of Pinnacle High School. This project presented unique challenges, because the site was previously a dairy farm. There was a lengthy site remediation process before construction could proceed. This site, also, houses a satellite transportation facility that was completed in an early phase.
Another challenge was adding back in amenities that were removed in the first generation project, to meet a School Facilities Board budget. This new project is a Class ‘B’ bond-funded project.
The Transportation and Support Services Building for Chandler Unified School District was constructed adjacent to the campus. This facility includes district maintenance offices and bays for District vehicles; e.g., buses, etc.
