Fire Station No. 1 was the first of four to be designed by HDA for the City of Flagstaff.  The design responds to Flagstaff’s strict guidelines concerning design elements to fit with the community’s character.  The two-bay station has six individual dorm rooms, kitchen, dining, dayroom, exercise and workrooms, along with several crew offices.  Insulated concrete form wall system that provides excellent thermal and acoustical properties was used.

Additionally, our design team worked with the Contractor and Owner Representatives throughout the design phase to value engineer the project into budget, while still maintaining a standard of quality acceptable to Flagstaff.
