The East Valley Delivery and Distribution Center is a 62,000 SF facility located in an industrial park complex. The project was completed as a joint venture between HDA and FCI Constructors, using the design-build delivery method.

The exterior of the project was designed to complement the surrounding buildings and conform to the design standards established by the industrial park. Tilt panel walls and a steel roof structure were used for economy, speed of erection, and aesthetics.

The project was a team effort, with critical information supplied by the general contractor and major subcontractors used to assemble the drawings. The design-build team scored 96 out of a possible 100 points in the evaluation of the proposal submitted to the United States Postal Service.

This project was delivered 60 days ahead of schedule.
